To Install

Open toilet seat bolt covers with a flat head screwdriver.

Unscrew both bolts entirely and remove toilet seat.

Align lock base slots over bolt holes.

Place toilet seat over lock base. Insert bolts, tighten securely and close bolt covers.

Put seat and lid down. Insert stem into sleeve and push down on stem while holding sleeve firmly until arm is approximately 1/8" above highest point on toilet seat. Fit of stem into sleeve is deliberately snug. Arm needs to swing freely. Arm height can be adjusted by holding sleeve and pulling up or down on the stem.

Once adjusted, tighten set screw securely.

To Use

Press down on push button and swing lock arm counter clockwise. When lock arm is parallel to tank, lift lid. Button must be pressed in before moving arm. Failure to do so could result in lock breaking. When lid is lowered, arm will automatically reset.

To Temporarily Disarm

Hold sleeve while pressing down on release button, lift arm near sleeve and swing clockwise to clear toilet seat. To return to engaged position, lift slightly on arm near sleeve and swing arm counter clockwise over toilet seat. It may be necessary to loosen set screw and readjust arm according to installation instructions.
