To Use

To open gate, press down on locking latch with thumb, lift gate and slide out of upper and lower locking brackets. Note: Gate should always be in locked position. If gate is open an excessive pressure is applied, hinge posts are designed to break to prevent structural damage.

To lock gate, latch spindle at top must click under locking latch when in closed position. Bottom latch spindle must rest in bottom bracket.

Great for keeping children from going up and down the stairs which can be dangerous for children. Patented feature allows gate to swing open inwards so that it can not swing open over the stairs. Never use a pressure gate at the top of stairs. Always make sure that stair gates are attatched to a wall or solid surface.
