Children tend to get into things that you would never dreamed that they might get into. My best friend gave my daughter Laura a set of Tot-Lok for her birthday for the kitchen since her and her brother have a reputation for climbing and getting into mischief. What my best friend probably did not know is that she probably saved my son's life several weeks later.
One night about three weeks ago my son and daughter were very bored. It had been raining here for several days and they had been inside for what seemed an eternity. Laura decided she would stay in the living room and watch one of her movies. My son had other ideas. I don't know how many times I removed him off the kitchen counter. It had to be at least five times.
I had just put a Tot-Lok on the cabinet next to the stove and placed all of the medication in there. I thought the Tot-Lok would be perfect to put on a high cabinet in the kitchen to keep my little children out of the medicine cabinet. I called this cabinet the medicine cabinet.
A few minutes passed by and my son had disappears out of the living room again. At first I thought he might had gone to the bathroom since he is potty trained finally. On the way to the bathroom I saw Dave on top of the kitchen cabinet trying to pry the door open. Thank goodness the Tot-Loks really do work.
