The beauty of today's homes is the diversity of designs and materials used for stairways, room openings, and doorways. The installation of child safety gates can be difficult since a "one size fits all" gate does not exist.
KidCo has assembled the materials and fasteners necessary to properly install any child safety gate to wood banisters, hollow wall, or wrought iron. One kit is required for each gate side that is not being mounted into a solid vertical wood surface. Only the most basic tools are needed to assemble any good child safety gate.
The KidCo Gate installation Kit can save several trips to the lumber yard and hardware store. When mounting a gate to unusual surfaces such as brick or concrete, it is recommended that you consult a hardware professional, baby shop, or baby proofing specialist.
Remember
Children are precious and no product replaces adult supervision. Never leave a child unattended.

Baby Proofers View:
Houses are designed differently all over the world. We child proofers understand and acknowledge this fact. This is why we have put together this installation kit that saves you the time and energy of going to and from the hardware store.
Main hardwood piece measures 33" long, which can be cut to fit shorter spaces.
One kit per side is needed, two kits needed per side for wrought iron installations. Special Note: Not for use with the Kiddy Guard Retractable Gate.
