One kit needed for the top and one for the bottom of each side of your gate. Easy to use and not marking walls or elegant wood stairs or banisters. Each kit contains two "Clamp" assemblies, one square, and one with inserts to accommodate curved or round upper post millwork. A smooth hardwood board is included for mounting to the "Clamps". The gate is then mounted to this board, and the installation is then secure without the need to drill or use screws driven into the staircase millwork. Works on posts 2 1/2" - 3 5/8" wide.
