| The KiddyGuard™ is a safety barrier which protects children (up to 24 months of age) from dangerous places. It can be used in doorways and stairways with widths up to 51 inches.
The KiddyGuard can be either fitted inside the door-frame or on a wall. Always make sure KiddyGuard is standing in contact with the floor or the threshold. When fitting the KiddyGuard at the top of stairs, place the gate at the top step, 6 inch from first step. When fitting the KiddyGuard at the bottom of stairs, place the gate at the lowest stair.
Attaching the Gate
Push and then release the button which is placed on the top of the gate. Unwind the gate and keep it unwound by holding it. Mark the necessary holes. Drill the holes, using a 3/16" concrete bit or 1/8" wood bit. Use the plugs provided if mounting on a concrete wall. Fix the KiddyGuard to the wall or door-frame, putting the screws through the holes prepared in the metal gate holder. Two sets of screws, of different length according to need, are provided.
Time to entertain? When baby is asleep and your guests arrive, just release the lock and our Kiddy Guard safety gate retracts for an open walkway between rooms. Stretches to secure openings up to 51" wide. Made of sturdy, laminated polyester mesh. Measures 32" high.
